iPod Touch: Watching Videos
The device is similar to the popular iPhone but there are some differences. The user interface is graphical and multi-touch just like the iPhone. It also has a sleek design but the iPhone has more attractive features. Unlike the iPhone, the iPod Touch has no microphone, Bluetooth compatibility, GPS receiver, and camera. When the 2nd generation of the iPod Touch was introduced, the difference between the two gadgets was further blurred since the new iPod Touch featured volume controls and a speaker.
Since the iPod Touch is a portable music/media player, you can also watch your favorite movies in it, whether new or old movies as long as it has been converted to the compatible format. How will you watch movies in your iPod Touch?
First, you need to find a free converter (iPod video) online and download it. Run the downloaded file click ‘choose file’. You can get files from the DVD or the hard drive. DVD files will require you to convert several files and you need to choose the largest size first.
Video aspects can be easily altered through the converter like the quality and size.
After conversion, you need to transfer the files to the iPod Touch. In order to carry out this task, you will need iTunes’ latest version and you can get it from the website of Apple.
A cable is usually provided to connect the iPod as you run the iTunes. Look for the bottom-left icon on the application of iTunes. You should also see a warning about disconnecting first before you remove the cable.
Click the tab for the movies and then click the sync video. Finally, click the ‘apply’ button. In a couple of minutes, you can already watch the iPod Touch movie of your choice.
Every time you want to watch a movie, you can save it in your iPod Touch. Now you can watch any movie even if you’re away from home. If you’re always on the go, just spend a couple of minutes in converting the movies and save it in your iPod. After that, you can already leave home.
